Plot Summary: Shido Itsuka is a secondary boy . On the last day of the holidays in the spring an earthquake destroys the area, with a girl in armour. Shido's sister-in-law, Kotori, informs him that the girl's name is the "Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit" Kotori has revealed that she is the commander of the anti-spirit Ratatosk organisation and commands him to go out with the spirit girl on a date. "I'm not asking you to beat the spirit," Kotori says, "Just allow it to fall into love, and to save the world."
