Plot Summary: Charlotte takes place in an alternate reality, in which every 75 years a short-term comet, Charlotte, travels by the planet. This spreads dust on Earth which causes a small proportion of young children who inhale the dust, when puberty is reached, to exhibit superhuman abilities. In Japan, the storey follows Yuu Otosaka, a young man who awakens to have another person temporarily for 5 seconds. In order to manipulate his desire to live an unselfish high school life in a dishonest way, Nao Tomori, a girl who might make herself invisible for a particular reason, is suddenly revealed. She pressures her to go to the Hoshinoumi Academy and join her Student Council of Hoshinoumi (Hoshinoume Gakuen) and the President of Hoshinoumi.
